The WorldFish Center
The WorldFish Center (formerly ICLARM) is an international research organization committed to reducing poverty and hunger by improving fisheries and aquaculture in developing countries. In the Mekong region, WorldFish has been working to improve health and food security, livelihoods and aquatic ecosystem sustainability through research, capacity building, and policy support. With more than 25 years' experience and ongoing collaboration in more than 50 countries, WorldFish is uniquely positioned to broker the exchange of experience regionally and globally. As a member of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research, WorldFish brings to the Alliance an unparalleled breadth of expertise in partnership with other CGIAR centres, to apply holistic, cross-sectoral approaches that set fisheries in the larger context of development.
