Share your skills, knowledge and experiences through practical and direct engagement and interaction with Alliance partners and the communities they are working with. |

Studies and research |

The Alliance, through its partners, offer opportunities for students from a wide range of disciplines to engage in studies and research that help to generate new knowledge and improve understanding of local development solutions and innovations. Already over 40 Master and PhD theses have been facilitated through the Alliance, with research ranging from local community engagement in natural resources management to the application of remote sensing technologies in wetlands eco-system assessment and water management, from developing local food-products through value adding to issues related to adaptive capacities of local communities to climate and environmental change. Opportunities for field studies and research in relevant areas can be facilitated in all of the Alliance’s geographic focus areas. |
Study tours and field schools |

Regional and local Alliance partners can facilitate excursions and study tours for training courses, undergraduate and postgraduate courses and seminars that want to expose their students to and engage them in real life development problems. |
